Kyrgyzstan Clinches Third Place in World Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Kyrgyzstan’s national team secured a commendable third place at the Combat Jiu-Jitsu World Championship held in Daugavpils, Latvia. The International Jiu-Jitsu Federation shared this achievement on social media.

According to 24.kg News Agency, The Kyrgyz athletes brought home a total of 20 medals, including ten gold, five silver, and five bronze. This accomplishment placed them third in the overall team rankings, behind Kazakhstan, who took first place, and Ukraine, which came in second.

The championship saw participation from around 600 athletes representing 29 countries. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan confirmed the standings and lauded the achievements of the participating teams.
