Kyrgyzstani Amantur Dzhumaev Secures Gold at Asian Boxing Championship

ASTANA — Kyrgyzstan's Amantur Dzhumaev has emerged as the Asian Boxing Champion for athletes under 16, taking home a gold medal in the latest competition held in Kazakhstan's capital. This development marks a notable achievement in the nation's amateur boxing scene.

According to 24.kg News Agency, which shared the news on Instagram, Dzhumaev competed in the 52-kilogram weight class. He achieved victories against opponents from Chinese Taipei, Turkmenistan, and Japan on his path to the final. In the decisive match, he outperformed a Kazakhstani athlete to claim the championship.

The previous day saw mixed results for Kyrgyzstan, as two other national boxers, Arvaz Akhmad (63 kilograms) and Dilerbek Sadirov (57 kilograms), fell short of the top spot, each earning a silver medal. Additionally, Ramazan Isaev secured a bronze medal in the 66-kilogram category.
