Kyrgyzstani Adilet Shadykanov won a silver medal at the karate tournament as part of the Asian Games. The Games’ website reports.

In the weight category over 84 kilograms, he lost to an athlete from Iran in the final.

Earlier, Nazim Nurlanov and Kymbat Toytonova won bronze medals in karate at the Asian Games.
