Bishkek: Airports of Kyrgyzstan, alongside the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Eurasian Development Bank, and Eldik Bank, have signed an agreement to purchase two passenger aircraft.

According to Trend News Agency, the procurement will involve either Airbus A320/A321 or Boeing 737NG platforms.

The stakeholders involved will carry out a comprehensive project assessment, develop a financial framework, and work collaboratively to secure necessary capital. The initiative, which involves financial projections of approximately $55 million, is scheduled to roll out in September 2025.

Previously, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service and the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange to collaborate on the issuance and trading of bonds.
