Uzbekistan: Uzbekistan’s gross value added (GVA) in industry reached 204.6 billion soums ($18.6 million) in the first half of 2025, reflecting a 6.6 percent rise compared to the same period in 2024.
According to Trend News Agency, the figures demonstrate a persistent upward trajectory in industrial growth over the past five years. The GVA recorded was 89.9 billion soums ($8.2 million) in 2021, 111.3 billion soums ($10.1 million) in 2022, 126.9 billion soums ($11.5 million) in 2023, and 168.8 billion soums ($15.3 million) in 2024.
The industrial sector displayed significant growth patterns, achieving an impressive 108.4 percent in 2021, followed by a solid 102.7 percent in 2022, a notable 107.7 percent in 2023, and a consistent 106.6 percent in 2025. This trend highlights the robust resilience of Uzbekistan’s industrial landscape.
