LACHIN—The grand opening ceremony of Lachin City Day was held on August 26, marking the event’s second annual celebration, featuring a series of cultural activities and official engagements.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the celebration is organized in collaboration with the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district and supported by Baku Improvement Service LLC. The event has drawn a significant number of Lachin residents who have returned to their homeland, alongside various officials, cultural figures, and guests. Celebrations are spread across four key locations within Lachin, offering a diverse and rich program of events that highlight the cultural and historical significance of the city.

The day-long festivities are designed to foster community spirit and celebrate the cultural heritage of Lachin, reinforcing the bonds among its residents and the broader Azerbaijani community.
