Baku: The Embassy of Latvia has condemned the drone attack on Azerbaijan, the embassy said in its social media account, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a strong condemnation of the drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The attack resulted in damage to the airport, injuries to civilians, and was deemed a violation of international law principles. The embassy expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan and reiterated its support for peace and stability in the region.
Today's drone attacks were launched from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. One drone struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another landed near a school building in the village of Shakarabad. The assault led to damage to the airport infrastructure and caused injuries to four individuals.
