Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva Tour Boarding School and STEAM Center in Guba

Guba: Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva visited the Guba district, making significant stops at a local boarding school and the STEAM Center. Their visit to the city on February 24 highlighted educational initiatives in the region.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the visit commenced at the Guba city general-purpose boarding school, which currently enrolls 114 students, including 79 boys and 35 girls. Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva assessed the school's facilities, engaged in discussions with students, observed classroom activities, and distributed school supplies. The students expressed their appreciation through a cultural program that featured poetry and musical performances.

The visit proceeded to the Guba STEAM Center, a project initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics education in Azerbaijani schools since 2019. Operating since 2021, the center caters to all age groups. During their visit, Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva evaluated the center's facilities, interacted with students, and explored the practical application of the knowledge and skills being taught.

The day concluded with commemorative photographs taken with the children and staff, marking a positive engagement with the educational community in Guba.
