Leyla Aliyeva and Sisters Celebrate Festive Event for Special Needs Children in Baku

Baku: Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva participated in a festive celebration for children with special needs in Baku. The event, held on December 29, 2025, was initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and head of the IDEA Public Union, in anticipation of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event also saw the presence of Leyla Aliyeva, who is the founder and head of the Baku Media Center, alongside Alena Aliyeva. Children from Orphanage No. 2 and No. 3 performed dances, showcasing their talents during the program.

During the event, a special New Year issue of the 'G¶y¤r§in' (Dove) magazine was presented. This monthly publication, initiated by Leyla Aliyeva and edited by Professor Rafig Yusifoglu, has been catering to preschool and primary school readers since 1958.

The festivities included a performance by the artist Aghayev, who also celebrated his birthday by blowing out candles on a cake with the children. Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva joined the children on the dance floor, contributing to the joyous atmosphere.
