Baku:Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, held a meeting with Shaikha Al Nuwais, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), on October 27, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the guest expressed her admiration for Baku's impressive architecture and the Victory Museum during her visit.

The conversation highlighted the positive assessment of the current level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Tourism Organization. It was noted that there is significant attention and support from the state level towards the development of the tourism sector in Azerbaijan. This includes the establishment of modern tourism infrastructure not only in the capital city but also in various regions.

The meeting also featured an exchange of views on topics of mutual interest between both parties.
