BAKU: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, participated in a tree-planting campaign in the Sabunchu district of Baku, organized as part of the Green World Solidarity Year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was joined by volunteers from COP29 and the Regional Development Public Union of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Together, they planted 1,000 Eldar pines in an effort to enhance the green landscape of the district.
The IDEA Public Union is dedicated to restoring and preserving the country’s biodiversity. Its initiatives are aimed at ensuring sustainable development, promoting a green economy, and the application of eco-friendly technologies. By expanding green spaces and addressing pollution, IDEA contributes to the ecological balance of the region.
