Baku: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Alena Aliyeva visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, showcasing their support for the institution's mission to empower individuals from vulnerable backgrounds.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Anar Aliyev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, emphasized the Center's role in nurturing creative talents among individuals with disabilities, members of martyr families, children deprived of parental care, and others in need. The Center, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, has been operational since 2021 and serves as the South Caucasus's leading inclusive space. It offers vocational training in various fields like fine arts, pottery, music, and more, benefiting over 900 individuals.

During their visit, Leyla and Alena Aliyeva presented gifts to the Center's beneficiaries and explored an exhibition of handicrafts made by them. They also received unique gifts produced at the Center and its regional branches. This year, the Center gained international recognition at the Osaka Kansai World Expo 2025 in Japan and hosted more than 150 inclusive events.

A concert program was organized in honor of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year. Performances included residents from a local social service institution, Center trainers, and beneficiaries, featuring the Inclusive Chamber Orchestra and Ensemble. Esteemed artists Zulfiya Khanbabayeva and Natig Shirinov also performed with individuals from vulnerable groups.

Additionally, the Aliyevas were briefed on a pilot project for a new portal intended to market handicrafts from the Center, aiming to introduce these creative works to a wider audience. Engaging with trainers and beneficiaries, Leyla and Alena Aliyeva participated in heartfelt conversations and took photos to commemorate their visit.
