Leyla and Arzu Aliyeva Attend Iftar Ceremony with Martyrs’ Mothers


Baku: Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, prominent figures in Azerbaijan, participated in an Iftar ceremony supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation during Ramadan. The event gathered families of martyrs, war veterans, and gazis from across Azerbaijan.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony featured the recitation of Quranic verses and prayers for the martyrs’ souls. Attendees acknowledged the Azerbaijani Army’s valor under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership and the liberation of territories from Armenian control. They honored the martyrs’ sacrifices for the nation’s independence and integrity.



Speakers conveyed well-wishes for national prosperity and stability, prayed for the martyrs, and expressed gratitude to the country’s leadership. The event, linked to the ‘My Son is a Hero’ project by ‘Fire Land Group,’ was supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, and included performances by Azerbaijani artists.



The ‘My Father is a Hero’ and ‘My Son is a Hero’ projects continue to honor fallen heroes and involve their families through events in various regions across Azerbaijan.
