Baku: Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva participated in a festive celebration organized for children requiring special care, marking the approach of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event took place on December 29 and was spearheaded by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and head of the IDEA Public Union. Arzu Aliyeva, founder and head of the Baku Media Center, and Alena Aliyeva were also present at the celebration.
The event featured the presentation of a special New Year edition of the 'G¶y?r§in' (Dove) magazine for children. This publication, which was initiated by Leyla Aliyeva, has been catering to preschool and primary school readers since 1958, with Professor Rafig Yusifoglu serving as its editor-in-chief.
People's Artist Faig Aghayev entertained attendees with performances from his repertoire. Leyla Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva joined in the festivities, dancing with the children and adding to the joy of the occasion.
The event also included performances by residents from Orphanage No. 2 and No. 3 social service institutions, who showcased their dancing talents as part of the program.
