Baku: During the ongoing trial at the Baku Military Court, Armenian defendant Lyova Mnatsakanyan addressed state prosecutors’ inquiries regarding the alleged presence of heavy weaponry such as Iskander M, Tochka U, and Smerch in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mnatsakanyan asserted that he did not witness the presence of these weapons at any point before, during, or after his tenure as the “defense minister” of the so-called regime. His statements form part of continuing court proceedings against several Armenian citizens.

The court is currently hearing cases involving accusations of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes-including preparing and conducting a war of aggression, acts of genocide, and violations of the laws and customs of warfare-as well as charges of terrorism, financing of terrorism, forcible seizure of power, and other offenses that are alleged to have occurred during Armenia’s military aggression.
