Baku: The “Education in Malaysia” exhibition opened in Baku today, showcasing the strengthening educational ties between Azerbaijan and Malaysia. During the event, Malaysian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ahmad Kamrizamil Mohd Riza, shared insights into Malaysia’s ambition to become a hub for international students by hosting 250,000 foreign learners.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ambassador highlighted that over 50 Azerbaijani students are currently pursuing their studies in Malaysia. This figure underscores the increasing interest in Malaysian higher education among Azerbaijani students. The ambassador emphasized that the exhibition reflects the rapidly developing bilateral relations in the educational sector between the two nations.

The ambassador pointed out the advantages of studying in Malaysia, noting the quality, safety, and accessibility of its educational system. He mentioned that the exhibition aims to bolster academic cooperation and widen internationally recognized educational opportunities for Azerbaijani students.

Malaysia is perceived as an appealing destination for higher education due to its reputable educational standards, strong international rankings, secure and welcoming environment, affordable living expenses, and the absence of a visa requirement for Azerbaijani citizens.
