BAKU — During a recent press briefing, Nur Jazlan bin Mohamed, Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Senate, commended the smooth execution of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, as reported by APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Malaysian delegation, invited by the Milli Majlis to observe the elections, found that the processes adhered to international standards without any disruptions. "This is my second observation mission in Azerbaijan; the first was during the presidential elections in February. My impressions remain highly positive," he remarked. He noted that the transparency and peaceful conduct of the elections are likely to bolster bilateral relations between Malaysia and Azerbaijan.
