BAKU — Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Senate, Nur Jazlan bin Mohamed, confirmed the efficient and unhindered execution of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan during a press briefing, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, who was invited by the Milli Majlis (Parliament) to observe the elections, this was his second time participating in Azerbaijan’s electoral processes. He expressed that the elections were conducted at a high level, similar to his observations during the presidential elections in February. "We visited several polling stations and observed that the electorate participated freely without any barriers, reflecting a democratic and peaceful process," he stated, adding that these observations met international standards and are expected to bolster bilateral relations between Malaysia and Azerbaijan.
