MAMA ‘Mother Nature’ International Art Exhibition Debuts in Albania

Tirana: The MAMA 'Mother Nature' international art exhibition has opened at the residence of the Prime Minister of Albania in Tirana. Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the event. Addressing the gathering, Leyla Aliyeva noted that the paintings, sculptures, and installations on display reflect the power, beauty, and fragility of nature. She described the exhibition as a compelling example of how art can transcend borders while contributing to environmental protection. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Leyla Aliyeva expressed her pleasure in being in Albania, a country known for its spiritual richness and sincerity. She emphasized the strong friendship and deep relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, highlighting shared values such as humanism, kindness, dignity, and mutual respect. Aliyeva also expressed her honor in seeing works by Prime Minister Edi Rama and renowned Albanian artist Arben Golemi at the exhibition and noted the participation of four artists from Baku. Leyla Aliyeva also add ressed global environmental challenges, citing alarming statistics about deforestation, loss of wildlife, and the decline of the Caspian Sea. She highlighted the threats faced by species such as the Caspian seal, salmon, and sturgeon due to human activity and environmental changes. Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his honor in viewing the exhibition, particularly works by Leyla Aliyeva that demonstrate the unity of art and environmental protection. He described the exhibition as a new chapter in the friendship between Albania and Azerbaijan, bringing culture and creativity to the Prime Minister's residence. Rama expressed confidence that visitors would leave the exhibition inspired by its colors and imagination. Following the official remarks, guests toured the exhibition. In interviews with AZERTAC, participating artists shared their impressions. People's Artist Elena Hagverdiyeva described Tirana as leaving a beautiful and unforgettable impression. Artist Nargiz Guliyeva expressed deep honor in participa ting in the exhibition, while Elnara Nasirli dedicated her works to the mysterious world of microorganisms. Jeyhun Abdullayev expressed pride in his participation in the project.
