Media Cooperation Among Turkic States Strengthens Through 12th Meeting

Baku: The 12th meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Media and Information Working Group concluded with a focus on strengthening cooperation and planning future initiatives. Rasim Bagirov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Documentation of the Media Development Agency, highlighted the discussions held during the event, emphasizing the action plan in progress which includes organizing trilateral meetings, media forums, and visits among the member states.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bagirov shared that each participating country presented their media-related activities and the measures implemented to counter disinformation. The discussions also covered various signed documents, the operational status of different areas and platforms within the OTS, and future collaborative plans. Bagirov expressed that for Azerbaijan, maintaining close ties with OTS member states is a priority.

Bagirov further mentioned a roadmap document established between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, which has led to several mutually beneficial events. He reiterated that Azerbaijan’s cooperation with the states of the Turkic world remains continuous and close.
