Khojavend: A media tour was organized to the Sos village of the Khojavend district, APA reports. Leyla Sarabi, the press secretary of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, informed journalists that Sos village came under the control of Azerbaijan during the anti-terror operation carried out by the Armed Forces in 2023. The restoration efforts have so far included the repair of existing electricity and gas lines, sub-artesian wells, the installation of two transformers, the commencement of the metering process, the repair of three water reservoirs, and the laying of approximately 5 kilometers of natural gas pipeline.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, it was noted that out of 259 existing individual houses in Sos village, 70 are uninhabitable and 189 are partially habitable. Currently, 10 houses are ready for use, and by the end of the year, another 75 houses will be ready for use. The restoration of 104 houses is planned for 2026.

So far, 10 families comprising 46 people have returned to the village. President Ilham Aliyev visited Sos village in the Khojavend district on September 14, underscoring the significance of the restoration efforts in the region.
