Baku: The 27th Azerbaijan International Exhibition on Medical Innovations, known as Medinex 2025, has started in Baku, transforming the city into a hub for healthcare professionals from various countries. From October 30 to November 1, the event attracts medical specialists, healthcare heads, entrepreneurs, distributors, and investors.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Medinex 2025 is one of Azerbaijan’s most significant healthcare events, supported by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (T?BIB), both of which will have stands at the exhibition. The event aligns with ongoing national healthcare reforms and industrial growth, providing a platform for innovation and partnership cultivation.
Approximately 80 companies from countries such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Republic of Korea, China, Egypt, Oman, Uzbekistan, Poland, Kazakhstan, Italy, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine are participating. The exhibition sees increased international interest, with Italy, Egypt, Oman, and Ukraine hosting national pavilions, indicating global attention to Azerbaijan’s healthcare market.
High-level guests, including a Ukrainian delegation led by Health Minister Viktor Liashko, are expected. On October 31, Medinex will host a bilateral pharma talk, ‘From Dialogue to Cooperation: Pharmaceutical Opportunities of Ukraine and Azerbaijan,’ featuring Viktor Liashko, Deputy Minister Edem Adamanov, a Ukrainian Parliament member, and pharmaceutical company representatives. The session will explore pharmaceutical cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries.
Medinex covers various sectors, showcasing medical equipment, IT in medical services, pharmaceuticals, orthopaedic and prosthetic technologies, dental and ophthalmological equipment, paediatric devices, laboratory technologies, medical education, and more. The exhibition is organized by Caspian Event Organisers with international partners Caspian Event Management and ICA Events, supported by the Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA).
