Ankara: Employees of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations participated in the 'Trkiye-Azerbaijan-Georgia SAR Exercise-2026' held in Ankara, Trkiye, organized by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Trkiye.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the main purpose of the exercise was to improve joint working skills between the search and rescue units and personnel of the friendly countries, organize mutual exchange of experience, and familiarize participants with the most modern approaches in the field of search and rescue.
During the exercise, an operation was conducted to organize the search and rescue of 'victims' trapped under rubble in an area where an earthquake had hypothetically occurred.
At the end of the successfully completed exercise, relevant certificates were presented to the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations by the organizers.
