Mexican Publication Highlights Azerbaijani Diaspora Efforts

Baku: Mexico's prestigious magazine 'Mundo Internacional' has published an article highlighting Azerbaijan's diaspora policy. The article features an interview with Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the interview conducted by Editor-in-Chief Carmen Mihalasku delves into the large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts in the Garabagh and East Zangezur economic regions under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The article emphasizes Azerbaijan's role in ensuring lasting peace, stability, and security in the region.

Muradov discussed initiatives aimed at preserving the national and cultural identity of Azerbaijanis living abroad and uniting them around a common diaspora platform. He highlighted the success of Azerbaijani diaspora organizations operating in over 70 countries, noting the importance of Coordination Councils, Azerbaijani Houses, and weekend Azerbaijani schools in the diaspora building process.

Additionally, Muradov expressed his views on the potential for further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico, underlining the mutual benefits such cooperation could bring.
