Baku: Birbank, the country's pioneering digital bank, is enhancing financial accessibility for entrepreneurs by enabling applications for a Micro Business Loan through its mobile platforms, Birbank and Birbank Biznes.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this initiative provides small and medium-sized business owners with the flexibility to complete the entire loan application process online, choosing the app that best suits their needs. Entrepreneurs can apply for a Micro Business Loan of up to AZN 50,000 without the need to visit a physical bank branch, provide a guarantor or collateral, or submit any documentation. The digital process ensures that all stages, including the signing of loan documents, are conducted electronically within the app.

The application is evaluated based on Birbank's existing lending policy and risk assessment without requiring an on-site business inspection. Once approved, the loan amount is directly transferred to the entrepreneur's account. Applicants need only have a Tax Identification Number or an AZN business account with Kapital Bank. For those without an account, the Birbank Biznes app facilitates easy account opening, streamlining the process further for aspiring entrepreneurs.
