Baku: Azerbaijan and Slovakia currently enjoy strategic partnership relations, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said during the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports. The minister spoke about the nature of bilateral relations and the prospects for economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovakia is successfully reflected in the energy sector and ongoing mine clearance operations in the liberated territories. The collaboration extends to construction projects involving Slovak architects and construction companies in these areas. Mikayil Jabbarov highlighted that these projects will not be limited to those already discussed, emphasizing the broader potential for cooperation.
Jabbarov encouraged viewing Azerbaijan as a gateway to a wider region, indicating the strategic importance of the partnership. He expressed optimism for expanding the cooperation beyond the current initiatives, inviting Slovak businesses to explore opportunities within Azerbaijan and the surrounding regions.
