Mikayil Jabbarov Highlights Azerbaijan’s Strategic Investment Advantages

Baku: Azerbaijan's investment outlook is shaped by three strategic advantages: connectivity, green energy, and digital readiness, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, said at the 'Azerbaijan Investment Outlook Forum' held as part of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Annual Meetings in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Azerbaijan has emerged as a key hub in international transport corridors, enhancing its role in East-West connectivity, particularly along the Middle Corridor. The country acts as a natural gateway for Central Asian countries located across the Caspian Sea, supported by investments in modern transport, logistics, and multimodal infrastructure.

Jabbarov highlighted the Zangezur Corridor as a critical component of Azerbaijan's connectivity agenda. This transport route aims to bolster international peace and prosperity by strengthening the connection between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. Additionally, it underscores Azerbaijan's role as a regional logistics and transit hub between Europe and Asia.
