Military Parade in Khankendi Highlights Azerbaijan’s Commitment to Regional Stability, Says Pakistani Think Tank

Khankendi – A military parade in Azerbaijan’s Khankendi has been highlighted as a strong demonstration of the country’s commitment to regional stability and peace, according to Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director at the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future (PRCCSF). Trend reports that Akram views the parade as a symbol of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and authority, especially in the context of the Karabakh conflict and the broader Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

According to Trend News Agency, The parade is seen as having significant regional implications, potentially influencing dynamics between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and impacting the South Caucasus region. In recent developments, Azerbaijan launched anti-terror measures in Karabakh on September 19 to expel Armenian illegal armed formations, leading to Azerbaijani Army’s control of over 90 combat positions. An agreement to cease these activities was reached on September 20. The military parade, held on November 8, marked the third anniversary of the Victory in the Second Karabakh War.
