Kalbajar: The Kalbajar District Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation following a landmine explosion that resulted in injuries to Azerbaijani military servicemen. The incident occurred in the Kalbajar district on August 5 as reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the explosion happened at approximately 19:05 during the execution of a supply mission in the Kalbajar region. A military truck struck a mine that was allegedly planted by the Armenian armed forces, the Ministry of Defense informed APA.

Four servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army were injured in the explosion and were promptly evacuated to a nearby medical facility. Their conditions are stable, and there is no immediate threat to their lives.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing as authorities work to understand the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
