Baku: The Milli Majlis discussed the draft law 'On the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025' at its session held today, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan's state budget revenues in 2025 exceeded the approved forecast by 2.2%, reaching 39 billion 184.6 million manats. State budget expenditures amounted to 38 billion 604.6 million manats, which was 6.8% below the approved forecast. As a result, the state budget was executed with a surplus of 580 million manats in 2025.

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the second reading.
