Baku: “Thanks to the Digital Bridge initiative, which processes approximately 1.5 million transactions daily in Azerbaijan, the environmental impact has significantly decreased,” Rashad Nabiyev, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, stated during his speech at the High-Level Roundtable on the Green Digital Action Program, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan is actively utilizing satellite observations to track ecological changes, including drought, desertification, and water resource management. This technological transformation is contributing significantly to environmental conservation efforts. Additionally, the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar power, is prominent, with solar power stations relying on renewable energy for more than 60% of the time, leading to a marked reduction in energy consumption and emissions.
