The number of criminal groups and gangs neutralized in Azerbaijan over the past 20 years has been made public, Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov said at the solemn ceremony dedicated to Police Day and graduation of the 2022-2023 academic year at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that over the past 20 years, APA reports.

According to the Minister, consistent work has been carried out to prevent, detect and investigate crimes, in in the field of protecting the legitimate interests of citizens, including neutralizing about 24 thousand criminal groups and gangs.
