Baku: "A few days ago, Azerbaijani oil products were sent to Armenia," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference on the results of the year, APA reports. The minister highlighted that such an event is unprecedented since Azerbaijan gained independence, marking a significant development in the economic relationship between the two countries.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Armenian side initiated the request for oil products, which Azerbaijan agreed to fulfill. This cooperation comes despite some opposition within Armenia. Minister Bayramov emphasized that while economic relations are expected to grow, they must align with Azerbaijan's expectations and conditions.

Jeyhun Bayramov further suggested that trade between Azerbaijan and Armenia could potentially expand into other sectors. He clarified that military products are excluded from this potential trade expansion, but opportunities exist in other areas. The minister stressed that these developments should proceed in accordance with Azerbaijan's expectations.
