Baku: The Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan successfully coordinated the return of 48 internationally wanted individuals to Azerbaijan during the first half of 2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry confirmed that among those returned, 20 individuals were received from Russia, six from Georgia, another six from Kazakhstan, four from the United Arab Emirates, four from Ukraine, two from Trkiye, two from Montenegro, and one each from Germany, Serbia, Moldova, and Uzbekistan.

Simultaneously, the Ministry facilitated the extradition of 20 individuals to various foreign countries. These included six individuals handed over to Uzbekistan, four to Russia, three to the Kyrgyz Republic, and one each to Moldova, China, India, Trkiye, Romania, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
