Baku: The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources is set to organize a series of events on the sidelines of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13), to be hosted by Azerbaijan from May 17 to 22, ministry representative Aysel Rzayeva told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, side events will focus on 'Early Warning and Climate-Resilient Cities,' 'Combating Plastic Waste: Promoting Livable Cities and the Circular Economy,' and 'Strategic Environmental Assessment as a Tool for Achieving Climate Goals in Urban Planning.' These events aim to address critical environmental challenges and promote sustainable urban development as part of the forum.
