Birlik: A serious road accident has occurred in the Azerbaijani-populated village of Birlik in Georgia's Gardabani district. A BMW, traveling at high speed, crashed into a tree, resulting in the deaths of six Azerbaijani youths, including two brothers.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, five of the six people in the car died immediately due to the crash. The sixth person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but doctors were unable to save their life. Three of the deceased, including two brothers, were from the village of Birlik, while the remaining victims were from the Sagarejo region.
Local media reports indicate that another person injured in the accident later died in the hospital. Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the accident to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
