Mirziyoyev Highlights Importance of Humanitarian Cooperation at Regional Meeting

Baku: "Humanitarian cooperation also remains among our unwavering priorities," stated Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the Informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries, as reported by APA's correspondent in Kyrgyzstan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Mirziyoyev emphasized the historical ties between the nations, noting that for centuries, the peoples of the region have lived alongside each other, engaging in trade and sharing knowledge and cultural traditions. He highlighted that as modern cooperation deepens, the sense of commonality among these nations is increasingly pronounced.

President Mirziyoyev expressed confidence in the potential for a qualitative renewal of cooperation in humanitarian fields, which he believes will enhance unity, solidarity, and mutual understanding among the regional populations. He also voiced his support for the initiatives and proposals discussed during the meeting, which aim to fortify regional cooperation. The Declaration signed at the meeting encapsulates the agreements and shared objectives of the participating countries.
