Budapest: MOL Group, a prominent Hungarian oil and gas corporation, has entered into a strategic partnership with Turkish Petroleum Corporation, focusing on mutual support in the hydrocarbon exploration and production sectors. This collaboration is marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that signifies a strengthened alliance between the two entities.
According to Trend News Agency, the agreement aligns with MOL Group’s long-term SHAPE TOMORROW strategy, emphasizing continued cooperation and growth in their exploration initiatives. “With the agreement, which is in line with our long-term SHAPE TOMORROW strategy, we are opening a new chapter in our decade-long history together,” stated a representative from MOL Group. The partnership is anticipated to bolster the energy supply security and competitiveness within Central and Eastern Europe, a region critical to both companies.
MOL Group also highlighted its operational goals, aiming to maintain daily production volumes at a minimum of 90 kboepd
over the next five years. This target underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its international portfolio through strategic partnerships and robust exploration and production activities. “We aim to establish strategic partnerships that help us contribute to the energy supply security and competitiveness of Central and Eastern Europe,” the company noted.
