According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan proposed the declaration of a nationwide state of alert in the energy sector, citing the need for urgent measures to address the ongoing disruptions. Cabinet members deliberated on the issue and subsequently approved the proposal, highlighting the severity of the situation.

The declaration of the state of alert is set to take effect once it is published in the Official Monitor, Moldova's official gazette. This move is intended to mobilize resources and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of the fuel supply disruptions on the country's energy sector.
