Chisinau: 'The Azerbaijani diaspora has made a significant contribution to strengthening cultural ties between Moldova and Azerbaijan,' said Cristian Jardan, Moldova's Minister of Culture, during a meeting with an Azerbaijani delegation visiting Chisinau at the invitation of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting was attended by Jahangir Salimkhanov, Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan; Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Moldova; and Tural Safarov and Tahmasib Atakishiyev, representatives of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora. The discussions focused on prospects for cultural cooperation, exchanging views, and reaffirming the mutual commitment to strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
