Baku: Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khrelskh has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Khrelskh expressed his sincere greetings to both President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. He highlighted the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing their foundation on mutual respect and shared historical and cultural values.

In his letter, President Khrelskh conveyed his commitment to working with President Aliyev to further enrich the bilateral relations between the two nations. He mentioned the importance of substantial economic cooperation and broadening ties within priority areas outlined in their respective long-term development policies. Moreover, he expressed a desire to make joint contributions to international efforts in promoting universal sustainable development.
