Baku: Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov. During the conversation, Bayramov briefed his Moroccan counterpart on Iran's drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov emphasized that such actions against Azerbaijan's territory not only contradict the country's sovereignty but also blatantly violate international law norms and principles, increasing regional tensions. In response, Minister Bourita strongly condemned the drone attacks, expressed concern over the escalating situation, and conveyed his solidarity with Azerbaijan.
The two ministers also took the opportunity to exchange views on other issues of mutual interest.
