Baku: Non-governmental organizations participating in the current event are making a major contribution to the integration of the Turkic world, which is growing stronger day by day, said MP Azer Allahveranov, Secretary General of the Platform of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), at the 2nd Cooperation Forum of NGOs of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, he stated that today the Platform, based on common history, cultural ties, and the principles of solidarity, cooperation, and mutual respect, is playing an important role in the development and deepening of social, humanitarian, and intersocietal relations within the Turkic world, as well as in strengthening unity and solidarity among NGOs. Allahveranov emphasized that the Platform, which has built its work in the direction of increasing capacity among NGOs and broadly promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge with the aim of deepening diplomacy, dialogue, and exchanges among Turkic peoples, has in a short period succeeded in holding bilateral, trilateral, and multilateral events.

He expressed hope that the joint projects and activities planned to be implemented in the near future by the NGOs represented in the Platform will create favorable conditions for establishing solidarity among the peoples on solid foundations and at the same time will make significant contributions to the integration of the Turkic world.
