A mud volcano erupted in Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi, APA’s Shirvan bureau reports.

The volcanic eruption was registered in the Malikchobanli village of the district.

The villagers heard a rumbling sound in the area before the volcanic eruption, later the lava spread to the upper surface of the soil in the area. The mud volcano rose to a height of about 10-15 meters.
