Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser: Islamic Development Bank Group Signed 67 Agreements Worth $6 Billion During Annual Meeting in Baku

Baku: The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group signed 67 agreements worth a total of $6 billion with 10 member countries, a number of regional institutions, and private sector companies during its Annual Meeting in Baku, announced Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, at the official closing press conference of the 51st Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the IsDB Group also approved new financing worth $2.8 billion for nine transformative projects aimed at strengthening connectivity among member countries, enhancing energy security, developing food systems, reinforcing climate resilience, and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The IsDB Chairman also expressed his gratitude for being awarded the 'Dostlug' (Friendship) Order by President Ilham Aliyev.
