Baku: Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Samir Mammadov, recently held a meeting with Marius-Gabriel Lazurca, the Advisor to the President of Romania on National Security, to discuss enhancing cooperation in the fields of international transport corridors, transit transportation, and digitalization.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the meeting, Mammadov provided detailed insights into Azerbaijan's initiatives aimed at developing the Middle Corridor and establishing the Zangezur Corridor. Both parties highlighted the diversification of the Middle Corridor routes as a crucial topic on their collaborative agenda. They also emphasized the importance of the draft Agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Turkmenistan. This agreement aims to facilitate the creation and operation of the Black Sea-Caspian Sea International Transport Route.
