Natural Gas Price Approaches $400 in European Trading

Brussels: Today, during trading sessions, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe is being traded at a level close to 400 US dollars.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on August 14, the price of September futures, as per the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands, the most liquid virtual trading hub in Europe) index, amounted to 397.4 dollars. This represents a 0.7% increase compared to the previous settlement price of 394.7 dollars.

Notably, since December 31, 2020, Azerbaijani gas has been transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), marking a significant development in the region’s energy supply chain.
