Amsterdam: Natural gas prices in Europe have remained stable, with the cost of 1,000 cubic meters of gas settling below USD 397 during today’s trading.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the price of September futures under the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands – Europe’s most liquid virtual trading hub) index was recorded at USD 396.9. This price is closely aligned with the previous settlement price, indicating a period of price stability in the European natural gas market.
The steady pricing comes in the context of ongoing gas transportation from Azerbaijan to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which began operations on December 31, 2020. The TAP has been a significant factor in diversifying Europe’s energy supply and enhancing the continent’s energy security.
