Azerbaijan Sees 3% Growth in Non-Oil GDP Sector

Baku: Azerbaijan has witnessed a rise of more than 3% in GDP production within its non-oil and gas sector. In the period from January to July 2025, the country produced 72 billion 429.9 million manats in gross domestic product, marking a 0.9 percent increase compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported a 3.3 percent decline in the added value of the oil and gas sector, whereas the non-oil and gas sector saw a 3.1 percent increase. The GDP distribution indicates that 35.0 percent of production was attributed to industry, 10.1 percent to trade and vehicle repair, 7.0 percent to transport and warehousing, 6.3 percent to agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 6.0 percent to construction, and 2.8 percent to tourist accommodation and public catering. Additionally, 1.8 percent was contributed by the information and communication sectors, while 21.1 percent came from other sectors. Net taxes on products and imports made up 9.9 percent of the GDP.
