Navy Holds Graduation Ceremony for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course

Baku: The next graduation ceremony of the ‘Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course’ was held in one of the military units of the Navy. The ceremony began with the laying of flowers in front of the monument in memory of Martyrs on the territory of the military unit, where tribute was paid.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for their Motherland, was honored with a minute of silence, followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the event, 1st grade Captain Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Azerbaijan Navy, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the course and wishing the participants success in their future service. The graduation ceremony highlighted the dangers posed by explosives, ammunition, and shells to human life. Attendees were advised to inform the decontamination team immediately if they detect any hazardous substances.

Certificates and gifts were presented to the successful graduates, marking their achievements. The event concluded with guests observing exemplary performances by Naval Special Forces.
